Age groups
"10U", "U10", "10-under" — whatever your club uses. Type the exact string that appears in the event title.
A
Team letter or level
"A Team", "JV", "Varsity", "Blue Team". Pick something unique to that squad — a color, a letter, whatever the league uses.
GU
Boys / girls indicators
"GU12" for girls under 12, "BU12" for boys. Common in club soccer feeds that mix both.

Safety fallback
Some events don't match any pattern (an all-club scrimmage, say). SportsCal shows those to every kid on the source so you don't miss anything — and you can tighten the pattern later.
