Invite your co-parent to your SportsCal household so both of you see the same kids, calendars, and events. Whoever taps a ride ask or a manual event is the sender — but everything shows up on both dashboards. Takes about 90 seconds from send to shared view.
Sign in on the web and go to Settings. Scroll to the Household section — right now it shows just you. Everything you add lives under your account until you invite someone.
Enter your co-parent's email and tap Send invite. SportsCal generates a magic link and emails it right away. The invite expires in 7 days if they don't act.
John invited you to their SportsCal family
SportsCal keeps every kid's practices, games, and school events in one place. Accept and you'll both see the same family calendar.
Your co-parent gets an email from SportsCal with a big Accept invite button. If they don't see it in a couple of minutes, tell them to check the promotions or spam folder — sender is noreply@mail.sportscalapp.com.
John invited you to their SportsCal family
Accept and you'll share the same family calendar — kids, team feeds, pickups and dropoffs. Your existing account and calendars come with you.
The button lands on sportscalapp.com/household/join. If they don't have a SportsCal account yet, they'll sign up first — the invite waits for them and picks right back up. If they already have one, they just sign in and tap Accept.
Both names show up in the Household section on either account. Whatever calendars either of you added live inside this shared view — kids, team feeds, manual events, ride asks, all of it.
The family Dashboard is now identical on both accounts. When someone offers a ride from your household, whoever tapped is the one the reply lands with — no confusion about who's coordinating.
Do their existing calendars come with them?
Yes. If your co-parent already had a SportsCal account with kids or feeds set up, everything they had comes along when they accept — and you'll both see it right after.
Can I invite more than one person?
Household size is capped at two for now — the common co-parent case. If you'd use a third seat (grandparent, nanny), tell us — that's the fastest way to move it up the list.
What if they never respond?
The invite expires after 7 days. You can also cancel it any time from the Household section — the magic link stops working immediately when you do.
Can we un-join later?
Either of you can leave from the Household section. The one who leaves keeps their own kids and calendars — they just go back to their own solo view.
