Direct ride ask

Sometimes you don't want to ping a whole group — you want to ask one specific person. Same starting event as the group flow, different fork after tapping + Assign, and three ways to reach out. Here's what each side sees.

Companion piece to Group ride ask — same event, same first tap, different fork.

Back in the app the Pick-up slot shows Morgan with quick Call and Text buttons. The pickup also shows up in Apple Calendar automatically.

Three ways to notify
📧
Email

Sends a formatted email with Yes and No tap-buttons. Same rule as the group flow — first tap wins.

Best when · you have their email but not their phone
💬
Open Messages

Opens iMessage with the request pre-filled for one recipient. Parent can tweak the text before sending — good for a personal note.

Best when · you want to say something extra
📝
Just assign

Marks the person as assigned on the event. No email, no message, no ping. They won't know unless you tell them separately.

Best when · you already talked to them
